The Sakura earrings are gold and silver plated on brass. Plated jewellery has the same quality as fine jewellery, however, with time, the plated layer will wear off. For that reason, Big Metal London applies a layer of clear resin is applied to prolong its durability. At least 50% of the brass base metal used in the jewellery is recycled.
