Earl of East

A hand poured candle passion project started in 2014 is now known as the London based creative business Earl of East. Created using bespoke blends of the finest botanical fragrances and essential oils, Earl of East candles are made out of non-GMO eco wax and self-trimming cotton wicks, ensuring a clean burn and an excellent scent throw. Poured into beautiful dark amber apothecary jars, the candles emit a warming glow and work well in everyone’s interior.

With a range that includes Earl of East incense, Earl of East incense cones and popular candle fragrances such as onsen, greenhouse and Jardin de la lune, they create eco friendly products that are produced sustainably. All EOE products and packaging are vegan, their incense is made using bamboo sticks and wooden materials that are then scented with essential oils. Cotton wicks used in their candles are made from unbleached linen, dipped in vegetable wax and complies with the Oetoex Standard 100, which regulates and tests fabrics for harmful substances. The vegetable soy wax used is guaranteed by all of their collaborators and suppliers to be certified by the RSPO who are committed to ensuring that their work does not contribute to deforestation and respects the rights of workers and indigenous people. Earl of East have joined the ecologi community to help reduce their carbon footprint and their glass amber jars and tins can be repurposed or recycled alongside their fully recyclable FSC certified cardboard packaging, 100% biodegradable lids and 100% recyclable paper labels.
