The creative minds behind Bath House first crossed paths at art college, later making the Lake District their home. The untouched and wild beauty of the landscape inspired a creative journey, leading them to establish the Bath House in 1997. Their mission? To craft beautiful fragrances and natural skincare products.

They began by teaming up with formulators and perfumers to create their first products. In 2007, they started handcrafting their own products in small artisan batches in their making rooms in Sedbergh, Cumbria. This approach allowed them to oversee every step of the process, from sourcing raw ingredients to final formulation and packaging.

Being the responsible brand that they are, Bath House recognised the need to bring their packaging in line with their sustainably sourced ingredients. They embarked on a journey to minimise their reliance on plastic for bottles and jars. Through careful redesign, they introduced a more minimalist, durable, and functional style, using recyclable materials. The goal? To produce packaging that can be refilled and reused, time and time again.
