Autumn at Mon Pote

30 Sep 2016

Our favorite season has just about arrived out doors and is certainly here at Mon Pote.  Autum/Winter 2016 is set to be an exciting one – we have an amazing range of new products for you to make your homes cosy, and lots of exciting things planned.

We had a great time shooting our Autumn/Winter 2016 collection at The Forge in Bristol, where Silkie Lloyd provided us with her beautiful space, photography and styling skills, to really show off our beautiful new products at their best.

Here at Mon Pote, Autumn means: the return of our incredible 100% lambswool Melin Tregwynt throws and cushions to curl up with;  stunning hand-made ceramics and handle-less mugs to wrap your fingers around; the fine textures of marble and our new Swedish Cooee Design vases contrasted with rougher textures like concrete and wood.  And not forgetting metallics like brass and copper to reflect the glint of the fire and add to the overall feeling of cosiness in your home.  I love this picture from our Autumn/Winter shoot (above) – the rain on the window just adds to the feeling of warmth of the scene inside!

marble storage jars

These marble storage jars are a firm favorite of ours and are great for giving your kitchen a quick facelift.  Use them for tea, coffee and sugar or  biscuits and food stuffs.  They are air-tight so will keep your produce fresh.  Click here to find them on our website: Marble Storage Jars

Brass and gold tones are moving in to replace copper as the season moves from Summer towards Winter and (dare we mention the c word) Christmas.  We love the way metallics reflect flickering candle and firelight on dark winter’s nights.

z lamp brass

This Dutch Z light by Leitmotiv is a perfect addition to any home, and at just £35 it’s a reasonably guilt free purchase!  Click here to find them on our website: brass Z light

We hope that we have given you some inspiration if you are looking to update your home this Autumn, or simply just to make things a bit more cosy.  Whatever you are planning, have a great season.
